J Crew Factory OOTD

I figure it's rude of me to share my J Crew Factory order, show a sneak-peek picture of my outfit yesterday and not share the rest.  So, here you go my friends:

Sweater - J Crew Factory Charley Sweater  (the medium is slightly big on me; but gives space for layering)
Skirt - J Crew Factory Pencil Skirt in Double-Serge Wool (Size 4)
Blouse - J Crew Factory (no longer available; similar here)
Tights - Dollar store
Monogram - Etsy (1.25")
And while I'm at it; remember the Factory Printed Draped Shift Dress I was so excited for?!  A complete bust.

Size 4 is on the left and size 6 on the right.
The size 4 was way too short and slightly too tight in the chest and arms.
I debated on keeping the size 6, but as seen below (center); the polyester is pretty clingy, the fit is extremely boxy and it's way too short for work.

  1. I'm conflicted about these outfits. Are you a little young for them?! They look a little mumsy.......sorry.......

    1. Lol Enie! No offense taken. My office is business casual and being a young female in the male-dominant field of engineering, I prefer to dress on the conservative side. Just my personal comfort level as I'd rather bring attention to my knowledge and skills than the fact that I'm one of two females in my office group.

    2. Good thinking Hannah!

PS. Sounds like a great trip to NY - really enjoying reading about it.
