12/14's Deals and Steals

This week I have been on a roll with recipes.  Sunday night I made a new cookie (still to be posted), Monday night Ben was in charge of dinner because I picked Tiny Tim up from the vet, but after dinner (which consisted of pigs-in-a-blanket and mac&cheese, although it Annie's organic white cheddar) I whipped up some banana muffins using this recipe (although I added chocolate chips).  Tuesday night was enchilada night (still to be posted) AND monster cookies (busy night in the kitchen) and Wednesday, as you've seen, was butternut squash pasta night.

Well the ball stopped there.  Last night I'd planned on crockpot shredded chicken made into chicken ceasar wrap and sweet potato fries. Until this happened (don't mind the mess):



Do you see what's wrong? That's right, I forgot to plug in the dang crockpot!! Therefore, this happened:

An impromptu dinner out at Cooper's, which happens to have an excellent beer menu and half price pizzas on Thursdays.  I ordered a delicious spinach, artichoke and goat cheese pizza, the remain of which I will be feasting on at lunch.  I suppose sometimes mistakes work on in the end.
