The only set item on the agenda is dinner tonight. With my brother and his girlfriend. Yes, the same brother who decided to get divorced early fall and whose divorce finalized in December. He said it's time for the family to meet her; that things are getting pretty serious. I know it's possible. He and my ex-SIL did struggle with their relationship in 2011 and it's possible that although they agreed to stay together he could have still been "checked out" of the relationship.
It's hard to be open minded when I was just starting to really click with my ex-SIL. But life continues to move and sometimes we just need to continue to move on with it.
