Crying for CO (+deals)

The images and posts on my social media, as well as the news, the past day from Colorado have been horrifying. We just spent time in Boulder earlier in June and to image it's charm and beauty stripped away by the wrath of nature. It breaks my heart. Lyons, a town that we drove through on our way to Estes Park in July, is now evacuated because of flash flooding.  Downtown Estes Park, where we happily had pizza and enjoyed the after party at the bars, is now flooded. This video makes me tear up.

My heart is with all of those effected, especially for the connections we have with those who work for the water industry in one of the areas affected. Obviously, the storm drain piping cannot hold all of the water coming down. I cannot imagine what their past 36 hours of work have been like. I pray they'll have the energy they need to ensure the water systems stay in balance or at least operational and that all stay safe.
