Recent Purchases - 4/9

With Spring temperatures, I've been included to shop for Spring clothes. Can you blame me? I've picked up a few things I've deemed worth sharing.

I posted about ordering vegan leather pants in my last purchase post. As much as I want to like them and keep them, I don't.  I returned them.  To be honest, I felt like a Ninja Turtle in them. Just something about the knees.  If you're interested in purchasing a pair, they are on sale for $49.50.

I ordered both small and medium; if I were to have kept them, I would have kept the small.  They have plenty of stretch. I would have been nervous that the mediums would be falling off at the end of the night!

I regret not getting a more detailed picture of the "leather" paneling.  The front of the pants are vegan leather and the back are a polyester spandex.  I guess this is just one trend I will have to sit out on!

I don't shop Modcloth often, but I recently received an email alert that one of the products I liked was back in stock. With a $20 referral credit from a friend (I would love to refer you too), this top was well worth the $23 I paid for it!

After reading the reviews and I sized up to a medium. I love it.  It is polyester, so it's light and flowy.  The length is perfect, covering about half of my bum.  It's long enough to be tucked into a pencil skirt for the office or paired with skinnies for the weekend.

One thing I've realized that I lack in my wardrobe (surprisingly), is plain t-shirts for casual wear. I don't really have that outfit that I toss on to run to the grocery store, etc.

When I went home for Easter, having planned on only staying two days and ending up staying seven days, I ran out of clothes. Luckily my mom, sister and I are similar sizes. One day, I borrowed a Gap tee from my sister and feel in love.

This is one of the softest t-shirts you will ever feel.  It has a lose fit and good length (again, my rule of thumb is covering at least half of my booty).  Plus it's on sale! I was happy to score the mint and coral at my local store.  Add yoga pants and you are good to go. (I'm tempted to order it in more colors: pale purple, charcoal, navy, neon yellow, and white are also available).

I debated on this tee in the long-sleeve style a few months ago. I was pleased to find it in short sleeve.
Who needs a statement necklace when you have one built into your shirt?
