Chase Freedom (Elevated Offer)

In my last post, I talked about the Chase Freedom Flex earning bonuses available for Q4 2025 and December 2025. Today Chase announced an elevated sign up bonus for the Freedom cards! Let's jump in!

Chase Freedom Unlimited

Current (elevated) sign up bonusEarn $300/30,000 points by spending $500 within 3 months of opening the card

Annual Fee: $0

5/24 Status: This IS a personal card, therefore it will take one spot on your 5/24 (learn about 5/24 here, Rule 2)

Benefits: Note here are two different Chase Freedom cards available to apply for. They have some similarities (like no annual fee!) and subtle differences. For the Freedom Unlimited, the benefits are:
  • Earn 3x's points on dining; including take out and delivery services
  • Earn 3x's points on drugstore purchases
  • Earn 5x's points on paid travel booked in Chase Travel Portal
  • Earn 1.5x's points on all other purchases
  • This card also has 0% APR for the first 15 months

Chase Freedom Flex

Current (elevated) sign up bonusEarn $200/20,000 points by spending $500 within 3 months of opening the card

For the Freedom Flex, the benefits are:
  • Earn 3x's points on dining; including take out and delivery services
  • Earn 3x's points on drugstore purchases
  • Earn 5x's points on paid travel booked in Chase Travel Portal
  • Earn 1x's points on all other purchases
  • This card also has 0% APR for the first 15 months
  • There differentiator for this card is that it earns 1x's points on all other purchases, but also has a 5x's bonus category that rotates quarterly, up to $1,500 in combined purchases (aka an option to earn an extra 7,500 points quarterly if you can maximize the spend in the categories)

In addition....
Both of these cards also offer 6 month's of DashPass, which gets you free Doordash Delivery as well as $10 quarterly to use for non-restaurant Doordash orders and 2% back on Lyft rides paid with your Freedom card

Summary
Overall, if you are a low spender, not interested in business cards or you simply want more points - I think grabbing the Freedom Unlimited elevated offer is well worth it! This card can be a great everyday card with it's categories to earn more points on every.single.purchase.

And the fact that you can do it with no annual fee, is amazing!!

Although the Freedom Flex isn't an elevated offer, it's still a decent card to have, especially if you can maximize the quarterly category spend!

I hold two Chase Freedoms (one from 10+ years ago and a second from when I downgraded a Sapphire card) and I will continue to hold a Freedom into the future!

As always, I'm happy to help individually and would appreciate if you open this card that you use my referral link. It's free to you and I get credit for helping you to keep bringing you more free points content!
