Food trucks are extremely popular here in Chicago.
It's kind of like an ice cream truck but with, duh, food. Although I think when I come across a foodtruck that I'm craving/wanting to try, I think I get a giddy as I did when I was six getting my Snoopy head popsicle. (actually, part of the reason I wanted to join Twitter was to follow foodtrucks. How embarrassing is that?!)
There's been a lot of legal debate on food trucks in the city because they originally weren't allowed to actually make items on board. A new ordinance passed in July is changing that and will allow items to be prepared on the truck. Woot Woot!
