Yesterday was a day of remembrance and gratitude, today is a day of celebration.  Betty (our other current foster) was diagnosed with a heart murmur by our regular vet and today we go to the specialist (an animal cardiologist) to determine how strong the murmur is and what can be done about it (medication, surgery, nothing, etc).  However, Huey has a big day too.  This goofy, loving boy turns 5 today!



Not only will we be celebrating his birthday (which I'm sure he has no idea why he'll be given extra pets and treats today), we're celebrating his freedom too as it with a month ago today that we welcomed Betty and Huey into our home and into their new life.  Happy birthday Huey!
