I survived. Our work holiday party was great. We had hired a casino company to come in with tables, chips and dealers and got a good response. It was a fun twist for the party and really got all of the firm’s different groups (accounting, HR, civil, mechanical, etc) interacting together; something that’s sometimes hard to accomplish. We had the party at Pazzo’s Atrium; which is absolutely gorgeous in itself. In addition to the casino games, for food we had a custom pasta bar that was delicious.
In past years the party has gotten rowdy and usually leads to shots and then an after party, however this year the vibe was different, which was okay by me. There’s some major proposal going on at work, so several people came to the party for a bit and when back to the office. I was home and in bed by 9:15. Fabulous. Now it’s time to rest up and get ready for our holiday trolley on Saturday. Whew, busy week!
