It's been 18 weeks since we welcomed this gentle giant into our home. Huey has now officially earned the title of our longest running foster for Chicago English Bulldog Rescue (previously was Tiny Tim at ~10 weeks). The reason Huey's stay has been so long is the shear number of dogs the rescue took in at one time; 23 with Project Mercy and three owner surrenders, all in one weekend!
While we've all grown used to Huey and adore him, we just don't feel like it's in the cards for him to become our dog. Tonight we're going to meet a potential forever family for Huey, who has a Goldendoodle just like my inlaws. Wish us luck!
